Audio Journey VR

This was my Bachelor's project from 2021. A VR-Game without visuals.

Inspired by games like Journey or AbzĂą, I aimed to take the player on a journey without words and create spaces to explore and interact with. The result is an interactive sound journey in three acts plus epilogue.
Due to the lack of any visual clues, the focus was on spatial reverberation. I also experimented with how to make music an interactive experience. The aim was not for the music to follow the storyline, but for the storyline to emerge from the music.
In the end, the game can be seen as a proof of concept and an advanced prototype. It serves as a basis for further developments in an area in which there are not many pioneers.
